Ode to InLaws Part 2

Gramps and Grammy Lindie also contribute to our family a ton. While their visits might not be as copious, when they come, they bring all of their kid-self that they can muster. Grammy Lindie has woven the best blankets just for the kids and they are the most perfect, durable blankets that you'll never get because they are so wonderful I am not sharing - ever. Gramps, well, the picture says it all....

Ode To In-Laws PArt 1

We just had a visit from Nana and Bopa. They always work themselves to the bone when they visit, and I think that's why we don't have any pictures of them all together. This visit floor heaters were installed, kids were watched, paint was painted, many meals made, kids watched, walls repaired, kids were watched, vents placed in ducts, light sockets and lights repaired, kids were watched, house numbers placed, kids were watched, fireplaces cleaned, and I'm forgetting like thirty other things that were accomplished. Our house would not be half of what it is without our in-laws. We feel loved and rested and ready to tackle the next thing that life brings our way. Whew and a thanks as deep as it is wide.

This Is not my daughter

This is not my daughter.

This is not my son.

They are kitty cats. And, at least the oldest kitty cat, will not do anything or eat anything or say anything unless you address appropriately. "Kitty cat, it's time for bed." This phrase gets me much farther than, "Bug, it's time for bed." Apparently I am a mama kitty and M is a walrus.
